Over at www.onemillionpower.com there is a 07/12/2018 issue of Famitsu magazine translated interview with Minoru Ikeda, the owner of the arcade “Mikado” located in Tokyo’s Takadanobaba area.
He talks about the start of Mikado and how it is to run an arcade in Japan. He elaborates how his passion towards SHMUPS came to be (and therefor the focus of Mikado) as well as the dark days for shooters in arcade-land. Of course the future of arcade and SHMUPs is discussed, including the exA-Arcade project and Aka to Blue.
